Dolores Huerta Elementary and the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) work hard to provide a great education for our children, but public school budgets are limited and don’t provide enough coverage for many areas of study, like visual arts, music, dance, computers, and robots. We love robots. That’s where the PTA comes in.

Every donation matters, big and small.  Please give what you can today so we can provide the best school experience for all our students:

Enrichment Programs

The PTA spends $671 per student each year to fund:

  • Library

  • Dance K-3rd (Maestro Jesus - Cuicacalli)

  • Art with Sirron Norris - 3rd

  • Gardening Class

  • Mission Science field trip - all grades

  • Overnight camping trips 4th and 5th

  • Community events

  • Teacher Support

  • Tutoring Program for English Language Learners

  • Robotics Club

How Your Donation Can Help

  • $50 - Field trips for the year for 2 students

  • $100- Support a student club for the year

  • $300 - Classroom supplies for one teacher

  • $500 - Provide a field trip for one classroom to mission science

  • $671 - The per-student amount that the PTA spends each year

  • $2000 - Fund our English Learner Advisory Council for the year

  • $4500 - Cover the garden program maintenance costs for the year
